If you needed any further confirmation that 2017 is about to be the year of twins (or multiples in general), look no further than Ronnie DeVoe and wife Shamari.
Aren’t they cute together? The couple announced on social media this week that they’re expecting double the blessing, and they’re overjoyed about it:
Shamari, 37, and Ronnie DeVoe, 49, announced in February that they were expecting their first child together, spilling the beans on her birthday. The pair have been married since 2006.
It’s been a great start to the year for the couple, not only because of this pregnancy, but also because of the success of the New Edition biopic, which aired in January. The group is said to be getting back in the studio, working on new music, following an announcement from Johnny Gill. New Edition is set to ride the wave of popularity the miniseries helped them regain by going on tour with SWV and En Vogue soon.
Back in April, Ronnie and Shamari dressed up in Adidas track suits for a friend’s ’80s birthday party and were some adorable parents to be during a fun photo shoot:
So happy for these two. As if one baby wasn’t already amazing, two is quite the spectacular gift.
