Xscape getting back together was one of the best announcements of 2017 so far, and once we learned the vocals are still on point we were all in. Now, there appears to be more than an album or tour in the works, the ladies are also working on a docuseries.
TMZ says they’ve heard from producers that Tiny, Kandi, Tamika and LaTocha are currently filming a show in Atlanta that documents their experience as they prepare to reunite on stage during Essence Festival this year for the first time in 20 years. The show is rumored to be airing on Bravo and guess who the reported executive producer is? Mona Scott-Young.
Although the series is taping now, it isn’t slated to premiere until November — right around the same time of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” essentially guaranteeing major views for the reality show.
Tiny’s also been sharing throwback posts of songs she wrote and sung on more than 10 years ago, some of which have never been heard, giving a possible taste of what’s to come when these ladies get back in the studio again. Take a listen below.
