Monica Brown has always been an open book about what’s going on in her personal life, and that includes what’s going on with her health.
The mother of three revealed in a post over the weekend that late last month, she had surgery after being diagnosed with endometriosis. She also revealed that she had a wealth of other health concerns that were addressed during her eight-hour surgery, including a hernia, fibroids and cysts:
Endometriosis is known as a disorder where the tissue that normally grows within the uterus ends up growing outside of it. It can be a painful disorder that can make your menstrual cycle a nightmare, make sex unpleasant and can also cause trouble in terms of fertility. Despite a lengthy surgery and what sounded like all types of hell for her body before, during and after it, the 36-year-old seems to be doing much better — and has a cute new pink hairstyle to boot.
