If you love ice cream and wine, rosé in particular, then you’re in for a treat this summer.
If you hadn’t already guessed, rosé ice cream now exists all thanks to Smitten Ice Cream. The shop, which is located in California, is widely known for serving some of the freshest and most delectable ice cream on Earth. Seriously, there’s Blueberry Lavender, Brown Sugar with Cinnamon Shortbread, Honey Thyme, Cookie Dough with Pretzels and Chocolate Chips, and many more to drool over. And of course, their newest flavor, Sonoma Rosé.
This flavor in particular mixes it’s creamy base with Scribe Winery’s canned rosé, Una Lou Rosé. For those up on their wine game, the canned wine is made from pinot noir grass and features notes of grapefruit and strawberries. Yum!
Although Smitten’s sweet treats can only be purchased on site at their California brick-and-mortar or Smorgasbord in Los Angeles, they offer national shipping via Goldbely, a site that dutifully ships food from local shops nationwide. But do be forewarned, you have to order five pints of ice cream at a time, which will roughly set you back about $109.
There’s no doubt this is a pricey purchase, but if you’re an ice cream and wine fiend, why not give it a try on a special occasion?
