Images courtesy of Gianna Snell  I'm always so inspired when people over 40, over 50 etc fall in love. Society will have you thinking that if you haven't found it by 30, you've missed the boat. But this couple from Huntsville, Alabama is showing us that not only is one great love possible; sometimes, there's room for another. That was the case of 70-year-old Cleveland Wilson (affectionately known as Murphy) and his soon-to-be bride Lucinda Myers (67). Most of the time, we wouldn't hear about such stories. But Wilson and Myers, at the suggestion of Wilson's daughters, decided to have an engagement photo shoot. They hired photographer Gianna Snell, also of Alabama, and the look of pure elation in both of their faces caused the images to go viral. And according to Snell, the emotion you see in the images is real and not staged. In her blog, she writes: "As I turned my head to grab my camera and adjust my settings, I heard giggling behind me. I turned back around to see this 70-year-old man inching closer and closer to his 60-something bride-to-be's side and sliding his hand around her waist, flirting and whispering in her ear. Her giggles let me know that I would not have to prod them to show affection, but on the contrary, I would spend the entire session trying to catch up to what they were doing next. The pair couldn't keep their hands off of each other. They later shared that it was this gesture, his hand around her waist, several months earlier that was one of the first signs of a beautiful spark between them." The couple also spoke to ABC News about their story. “She swept me off my feet. I just fell in love with this gorgeous woman. And of course she fell in love with me because of my charm and suave. My daughters -- and I love my daughters -- they decided they were going to be wedding planners and put all of this together.” Antoinette, Wilson's first wife, died in 2013 and he wasn't sure that he would find someone else. “We were married for 41 years. We were very, very, very close. I discovered about myself I’m not built to be a bachelor. I didn’t like being by myself. We were like one person for 41 years. We literally said, ‘To have and to hold ‘til death do us part’ and that was what we went through. But I got to a point where I recognized I still have a lot of love left.” He told Snell, "After Antoinette died, I had all kinds of things going on; I was teaching high school classes, directing choirs for various churches, and hanging out with my 4 grandchildren but there was still an empty space and it couldn't be filled with more work. My life balance just wasn't there." So he prayed to God that he send him the woman who would become his wife. After his wife died, Wilson stopped attending church services where he and his late wife had served. When he finally did return, after months, he didn't want to sit on the main floor and decided to go to the balcony. Eventually, he realized that "the answer to [his] prayers was sitting in the balcony with [him] for the last four years." Myers, a florist and baker, who married for the first time when she was 18-years-old, had been divorced for thirty years. Originally from Boston, like Wilson, coincidentally, she moved to Huntsville, Alabama for a change of scenery. She arrived in July 2013, the same month Wilson returned to church. She too had been praying for a partner and admitted that at times she asked aloud, "God, where is he?" Wilson sat one row behind Myers but said that he wasn't actively searching for anyone. Instead, he was waiting for God to reveal his next partner to him. He did so one day when Myers turned around. Wilson said it was her hair and her smile that intrigued him. He was so enamored with Myers that another congregant noticed him staring at her and told Lucinda that she had an admirer. She responded to the woman, "Well if he is admiring me, he has to come to me. I'm certainly not chasing any man." But she did put a little bit of extra effort into her Saturday attire. (Wilson and Myers are both Seventh Day Adventists.) "I would make sure I was looking real cute," said Lucinda, with a laugh. "I positioned myself to be where he was so that I made sure that he saw me." Eventually, during the welcome portion of the service, Wilson mentioned that he'd noticed Myers' efforts and told her that she looked really nice. But after that initial flirtation, Wilson wasn't at service for the next three weeks. When he did return, Myers knew she needed to say something to let him know she'd noticed his absence. "Where have you been with that pretty smile?" She followed it up with a hug. But "It was not the typical "welcome your neighbor hug," said Murphy, smiling. "The next thing you know my hand was around her waist. I asked myself, 'what did I just do?' But I knew then that this lady liked me." After then, Myers was invited to Wilson's house by a mutual friend. That's where their courtship started as they spent most of the night talking to one another. It's a pattern that's continued in their relationship. The couple say that they don't need television to entertain themselves. "We entertain each other," Myers said. "We laugh and talk for hours...We sit down and start talking then look up and realize its been four or five hours and it's just the two of us. We just enjoy each other." She echoed those sentiments with ABC, "He has a beautiful smile. I love him so much.." Myers is particularly excited about the day because she said she "never had a real wedding before." And she's going to participate in at least one of the customs. She's currently hiding the wedding dress she's purchased from Wilson. When Snell asked Myers if she had any advice for other women who are waiting for love, she said, "Hold on, and keep the faith. Our time is not God's time...He has His time...Make sure that you continue to do things that make you happy. I didn't need a human being to make me happy...If God hadn't sent Murphy, I'd still be happy doing what I loved to do, but now that he's in my life, he is the icing on the cake!"
