Although Donald Trump's inauguration was on Friday (Jan. 20), and Chrisette Michele's controversial performance has passed, it looks like the heated discussions are still brewing via social media.
However, instead of fans and average Jane's and Joe's reading her for filth, Michele's fiancé and longtime manager Doug “Biggs” Ellison decided to share his thoughts as well. It's apparent that Ellison respected Michele's decision to perform, but he wasn't too happy with director Spike Lee, who said he wouldn't be using the R&B singers music following her decision to perform at Trump’s inauguration.

Posting a photo of Michele to his Instagram account, he used the caption:

While Michele's camp was silent about Lee's comment, Ellison has decided to come forth and speak on her behalf. Posting a Basquiat image to his Instagram, he wrote, "Open letter to @officialspikelee 'F**k You!" #basquiat."

Just some hours later, Michele backed up her man, posting a screen shot of Ellison's Instagram post to her Twitter. "An open letter from my fiancé to @SpikeLee | And for those of you who don't know who Basquiat is, do your research | #NoPoliticalGenius."

Lee, who attended Saturday's NYC Women's March has yet to respond to Michele and Ellison's comments. Michele has also deleted her post directed at Lee.
