While Washington, D.C. was the hub of the movement, many cities across the globe participated in the peaceful protest. With people from all backgrounds coming together to march in solidarity, there were a number of familiar faces who shared their experience on the historical day. From Rihanna to Tracee Ellis Ross, there were plenty of celebrities who made sure to spread the message and post empowering visuals from the day on their social media. <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 658px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);" data-instgrm-captioned="" data-instgrm-version="7"> <div style="padding: 8px;"> <div style="background: #F8F8F8; line-height: 0; margin-top: 40px; padding: 62.4305555556% 0; text-align: center; width: 100%;"></div> <p style="margin: 8px 0 0 0; padding: 0 4px;"><a style="color: #000; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 17px; text-decoration: none; word-wrap: break-word;" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BPjI8o0DwUi/" target="_blank">Honey you know I NEVER miss a chance to dance! 😉💃🏻 #womensmarchla</a></p> <p style="color: #c9c8cd; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 17px; margin-bottom: 0; margin-top: 8px; overflow: hidden; padding: 8px 0 7px; text-align: center; text-overflow: ellipsis; white-space: nowrap;">A video posted by Debbie Allen (@therealdebbieallen) on <time style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 17px;" datetime="2017-01-22T01:58:46+00:00">Jan 21, 2017 at 5:58pm PST</time></p> </div></blockquote> <script async defer src="//platform.instagram.com/en_US/embeds.js"></script> One in particular that caught our eye was of the beloved Debbie Allen. Participating in the Women's March in Los Angeles, she hit the streets of Hollywood with the likes of Barbra Streisand, Jane Fonda, Jamie Lee Curtis, James Franco and many more. In the midst of representing for all the women across the world, she broke out in a two-step to Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" that had everyone cheering her on. At 67 year's old, the actress, dancer and choreographer —just to name a few of her many titles—she's certainly still got it, body rolling and twirling with an uplifting spirit that could be felt even if you weren't present. Get 'em, Debbie!
