While we all found out that actress Keshia Knight Pulliam gave birth to daughter Ella Grace on Monday, her estranged husband, Ed Hartwell, got the memo just before the public. According to sources who spoke with Page Six, she didn't call him when she gave birth, and Hartwell didn't find out until Pulliam was already checked out of the hospital and back home.

"He didn’t get a call or anything [from Knight Pulliam or her family]," the sources told the publication, claiming his lawyer informed him after finding out. "Ed basically found out at the same time as the rest of the world."

But before you start to feel bad for the guy, those same sources, which are reportedly close to Hartwell, said that he still isn't so sure he's the father of Ella Grace. He reportedly hasn't reached out to Pulliam and "currently has no plans to do so" due to his doubts.
If you'll recall, Hartwell filed for divorce from Pulliam immediately following her pregnancy announcement. While both parties were taking their gripes to the media, they accused one another of infidelity.
"I can’t say she’s been unfaithful. I can say she’s stayed out, she’s not came home, she’s went out of town … for three days, I don’t know what’s going on. I can say that," Hartwell told Page Six TV last summer. "I can’t say she was unfaithful. I can say she wanted to get in vitro, I can say she wanted to do some things to make sure she got pregnant. I just want to make sure it is mine."

But Pulliam told Entertainment Tonight she wasn't the one sidestepping in the marriage, instead, it was Hartwell.
According to her, "early in my marriage, I was faced with this, I was ready to leave. I had divorce papers ready. I presented them to him. He begged for another chance. He said, ‘Please, I want my family.’ He said all of the right things and once I was pregnant, I did decide to give him that one last chance."
Unfortunately for her, he wasn't serious, and eventually told her he filed for divorce.
"I love who he pretended to be," Pulliam told Entertainment Tonight. "I love who he portrayed himself as, and the one mistake I made was, when he showed me who he really was, not believing him. Not believing him the first time. When he said he wanted our marriage, he wanted our family — I believed him. That’s why I gave him this one last chance, only for him to pull the rug from under me and blindside me."
The pair are still in the midst of their messy split, and with the drama of that, alongside his paternity doubts, is it really a surprise that she didn't call him?
We think not.
