If you've been on Twitter today, you might have seen the hashtag #ProtectTransWomen trending. Last year was the most deadly when it came to deaths of Trans women. The issue of which bathrooms trans students should be able to use became a national debate--unnecessarily. And this year seven trans women have already been murdered. And the victims of these murders are often trans women of color. It's an issue that all communities, but especially the Black community, should advocate for. For those who still might not be convinced, here are a couple of reasons why.
