We’re used to Niecy Nash talking about sex. It’s been nearly three years since she told us the key to marital bliss is to keep your man’s “Stomach Full and Penis Empty.” But sex isn’t just how Niecy keeps her relationship healthy, it’s also a vital part of her beauty routine, she recently told The Cut.
The actress talked to the site about her regimen due to her latest role as nail salon owner Desna on TNT’s Claws. And while she shared some advice that’s to be expected — like, “I’ll get an apricot scrub with tea tree oil, vitamin E oil, and Palmer’s Face Serum” — her overall beauty philosophy was far less about products.
“I just think you look younger and fresher when you’re happy,” she explained. “And the things that make me happy are making a lot of love and drinking expensive champagne, so that’s what I do. That’s part of my beauty regimen. I also wear a lot of wigs because I like to, one, change it up. And, two, I think it helps to keep my marriage spicy.”
Sounds like sex and champagne are working. Niecy, who’s 47 by the way, is looking better than ever these days. And on May 28, she and husband Jay Tucker just celebrated six years of marriage. Might be time to add a little (or a lot) more sex to your beauty routine too.
